Artificial Academy 1 and 2 Comparisons

You know what Artificial Academy (AA) is, right? If not, shoo shoo!

Character editing:
      1. AA2 allows more editing including custom colors for many kinds of parts (hairs, glasses, skin, etc).
2       2. You’re now able to edit sizes and shapes as well for the… chest area, and also more options for eyes too.
      3. Face types, allowing you to have different base for faces, which you could edit even further on the next tab.

Editing the eyes

AA1 UI (in case you didn't know)

      4. AA2 adds “character traits” where it could affect how they will act and respond. Not to mention the… *ahem* “preference” part during H-scene also added (which is a very important part!)
Censored, for many reasons!
What my thoughts about AA2? I couldn't seemed to make that same serious look from AA1, which is a shame! Other than that, everything is better with more stuff to be edited. The textures also looked "softer" (or maybe I just didn't played with the textures in AA1)

Gameplay:
Lots of changes here, I dunno where to start—

1. Some buttons are missing! They removed some buttons and instead put them on shortcuts (ex: right click to stop moving) I'm not going to talk about controls here, consult google for how to play!
2. Jinzou statue is still around, but not in the 1st area.
3. Teacher. Yes, you can now have your character as a teacher! HHHNNGGHHH--- *ahem!*
4. You can (somewhat) make custom clubs, unlike AA1 you need to choose from the list.
5. New UI when browsing characters. I personally don't like it.
FYI Top center is the teacher
6. Awkward walks. The otaku personality has a... unique style of walking/running, not sure about others. AA2 walk/run is pretty much the same as AA1, not very human-like if you ask me!
7. More interactions with your surroundings. AA2 allows you to do stuff alone. By "stuff" I meant studying, do sports and do club activities. However, it's always better to do it with someone else.
8. More options when interacting with the characters! This is exactly the important thing, more things to talk about other than studying, sports and love! But of course this means that AA1 players needs to (somewhat) learn these new things like new players.
Each buttons has different set of interactions
9. Safe zones. Safe for what? H-scenes of course... Unlike AA1, AA2 offers a few locations in the school grounds to "safely" engage H-scene with your partner. Holy hell there's even love hotel! (Again, consult the -how to play- on google!)
10. Days. In AA2, you won't have the "everyday is school" life like in AA1, they have days that also affects what sports lesson you'll be having. On Sunday, you could have a date with your partner. (If your relationship is high enough)
11. NPCs acts VERY fast in AA2, which kinda harder to make your character to interact. They won't be standing around like in AA1, even after a few seconds talking to them they'll take off instantly!
12. AA2 have changing rooms, which could be use to change costumes (duh). AA2 have 3 different outfits, school uniform, PE and swimsuit. There's also teacher's outfit too, but only for the girls. (obviously you wanted a female teacher instead of male, right?)
13. AA2 have (somewhat) different time period unlike AA1. You will have Morning -> Lunch break -> Sports -> Club activities (You go home after this one).

13 is enough, overall AA2 is definitely have more to give than AA1 with so much improvements, or rather "too much" might be the right word. I'm not saying it's a bad thing, but as a AA1 player I feel like I need to learn this game from 0 again (Many new features and changes here and there).

If you never tried AA1 before, there's no need for you to play AA1 before AA2 (since they're basically the same and AA2 might be easier for new players).

  2. You forgot to mention diffirent sex mechanic, where you almost immediately can go straight to the climax multiple time. More prefer an AA1 mechanic at this part of gaming.

  3. you forgot to mention that in AA2 when you talk to people it fades to black but in AA1 when you talk to people they actually talk and not only that but your own character talks also while even when you are controlling them while in AA2 they dont

  4. Yeah I realized I missed a lot of things here hahaha

I like AA1 because of what killerv12 said, your character also talks during the conversation so the dialogues between the two sounded more natural. Idk why AA2 removes this, but making the NPCs conversations to be heard by the player instead. AA2 has a bunch of stuff during character editing though, for me character building is the core of this game for role-playing. I already played quite a lot in AA2 and some unexpected things still occurring here and there.
